Wedding Favors: Making Your Favors Perfect
Wedding Favors: Making Your Favors Perfect
Who wouldn’t love to be able to pick the perfect thank you treat for all those special friends and family you invited to share in perhaps the most spectacular day of your life? That’s why I love helping brides come up with the favor that truly reflects the new couple and goes perfectly with the rest of the reception decorations.
The bride will want to work with a person or company that has a variety of favor themes. Not all brides want foiled chocolates, not all brides want boxed chocolates, and not all brides want wrappers around a candy bar. If you find a company that has a very limited selection then you might not get what really fits in with your wedding and you definitely don’t want to settle for only what’s available. You deserve to find a favor that is as particular to you and your wedding as is your dress, the flowers or the location.
Favors, of course, come in all shapes, sizes and colors. The most important thing is to find a favor that compliments all of your other reception decorations. It isn’t too difficult if you start by eliminating what you don’t want. Decide on box, bag, tulle or loose favors. Decide on chocolate, candy, nuts, or some other favorite. Decide on cost. Decide on color or texture. A good retailer should be able to point you in the right direction and help you streamline and narrow down your choices until you have what is perfect for you.
You might be tempted to go online and that is a good starting point for getting ideas, but don’t forget to look in you own area when purchasing. There are so many good retailers and it’s a great idea to support your community businesses if possible.
So in summary:
*make it your own
*be creative
*work with a business that can give you what you need
*be aware of pricing and quality in terms of internet sales
