Meat Loaf with sage

1 1/2 lbs ground beef
1 C milk, I use soy..
1 tsp chopped fresh sage or 1/4 tsp dried rubbed sage
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp dry mustard
1/4 tsp pepper
1 egg
1/2 C drackers or 3 slices of bread (chopped)
1/8th tsp garlic powder or 1 clove of garlic fresh chopped
1/4 C. ketchup
1/4 C BBQ sauce
1/4 C chopped onion
1 TBS worchestershire sauce
 
Shape in a 9X13 pan to look like a loaf, 1 inch thick, top loaf with an extra 1/4 cup of ketchup/BBQ sauce.  Don't put in a real loaf pan as this forces the loaf to absorb it's fat.  Sometimes I use a jelly roll pan.  Bake at 350 for 1 plus hours.  Don't over cook.
