Ashley and Jesse - Wedding in Minnesota

Jesse and I met about six years ago at my grandparent’s home. My grandpa and Jesse were acquainted by their hobby of hunting. Knowing we both were single, my grandpa wanted to set the two of us on a date. He called Jesse to ask if he would like to come to his house for supper and meet his granddaughter. We instantly became inseparable.

Shortly after, we started dating and four years later Jesse proposed. He said “he would do anything it took for me to become his wife.” Of course I said “yes.” We started planning immediately because we knew we wanted to get married the next summer. After booking the church and reception venue we had to find a photographer. I had someone perfect in mind. It was the same person that had taken my senior pictures and she was also a friend of my mothers. I looked at her website and was very impressed with her work.

A little more than a year of planning and the two of us got married at St. John’s Lutheran Church. Everything worked out perfectly on our day. The day we had been waiting for had finally arrived and it went by so quickly. Luckily, we had great pictures of our day that we will get to look back on past our golden anniversary.
