Patty and Jeff - Estes Park, CO

Jeff and Patty were married on May, 23rd at The Historic Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, Colorado.

The entire event was organize by Katie Marie James, of Precious Moments Weddings and Events, in less than 3 months!

Although the weather did not choose to cooperate at The Stanley Hotel, and we ended up moving the ceremony indoors, it was still a beautiful view for the wedding, overlooking the Estes Park mountains and blossoming cherry tree. Patty and Jeff's beautiful ceremony, which was officiated over by Cris Chrisfield, of Longmont, included vows to all of the bride and groom's girls (including the youngest two, 5 year olds a mere 2 months apart,) giving of bibles, communion and a unity sand ceremony. The violinist and cellist from Orelia String Quartet provided the lovely musical accompaniment.


Ellen Cara Floral stayed and helped set up the lovely jewel-toned centerpieces until right up until the beginning of the ceremony, which was held in the MacGreggor Ballroom.

As the bride and groom had formal photographs taken by Ashly Davis Photography, guests filed into the cocktail reception,where they signed the bride's custom made guestbook and kids found their personalized "kids kits," filled with coloring books, stickers, snacks and bubbles, made by a guest.

After some mingling, guests found their seats in the Pinon/Billiard Room.

Toasts were made from the head table, including one from the bride's eldest daughter (age 11.)

A variety of cheescakes were served, prepared by the Stanley Hotel, at the dessert buffet.

By the end of the evening, everyone was tuckered out, but mostly excited to see these two wonderful people and beautiful families, join into one. I am glad that they allowed me to share in their special day!
