The ceremony was held at the historic Ryssby Church in Longmont. The guests braved the December cold in the old, stone church lit only by candlelight and a wood burning-stove.
Cocktails warmed up guests on the lower level of Rembrandt Yard Art Gallery in Boulder. Dinner, provided by Spice of Life, and dancing followed upstairs with views from the floor to ceiling windows of downtown Boulder and the Flatirons. The bride and groom's table of course would not be compete without some mistletoe hanging overhead.
Nature's Grace Design did a lovely job, as always, to achieve an elegant, but contemporary look. Using a dark burgundy, seasonal color, without wanting things to look, as the bride put it, "Christmassy."
The cake had an intricate brocade design and tasted as good as it looked, compliments of Colorado Rose Cake Company.
KB Photography followed the wedding party out on the town to capture some whimsical photos, including in front of Boulder Theatre before guests made a short trek to The Boulderado Hotel to stay the night.
