Dear WED, I am thankful for your website; you have offered myself as well as probably thousands of other Rochester area brides with so much valuable information!
My only regret, or should I say misfortune... I recently was engaged (on March 22nd!!) and to my surprise I am finding that the one thing that I have looked forward to for so long I will never get to experiece during my wedding plannig time unless of course we wait a considerable amount of time to marry. I am talking about the Wedding Extravaganza event and those like it! I was bumed to see that it took place only a week before I was surprised with a one of a kind proposal! We are hoping to set a date in May 2009, so it will be too late to get useful information if I wait until next years show, as I have learned there is already much to do!!
So in all, thanks for listening to me babble and if you have any information on any sort of wedding event that you think could be comparable to the recent wedding event here in Rochester, I would love to hear about it! Thanks so much for time and forth coming response, Katie

Wow! The new page site looks AMAZING!!! Very hip and trendy! I love the popping colors and the areas for featured vendors. Great idea. Maybe under that featured vendor category, you could add a small blurb about something that the place is known for, or maybe a popular dish or something... just something to highlight the feature and make people want to know why is the feature. I think go2wed.com is a really easy address to remember and its fun. You're right... when I first started using the wedding and event directory, I had the address written down in a few places so I wouldn't forget it. I agree that go2wed.com is more user friendly and easy to remember for vendors, and couples alike.

I LOVE that you are adding "create your own" web pages, and that you can search for created ones by name... eliminated the need to remember the web address or search through pages for ever trying to locate the one important to you. Great idea! The other thing I notices that I think is a major bonus is the "ask the wedding gals" tab. You don't know how many times I wish I had someone to ask the right way to do something, or where to locate something I needed. It was a pain to have to go somewhere else to find someone to ask, so its VERY nice that people can get their questions taken care of all in one place! HUGE PLUS! Once its all up and running its going to be super. I love the wedding & event directory now, but compared to this, it seems a little conservative, (the darker colors, etc.) whereas this new go2wed.com is much more new age with the neon. I LOVE IT!!!!! ***** 5 stars :) I can't imagine how much time it takes to launch something like this! I know its time consuming and comes with a ton of "re-vamps", but I know in the end it will be a great asset to wedding planners, engaged couples, and venfore alike. I really think this is going to attract tons more vendors to join up with you to get their name out! How could they not?!?!? lol Katie Tune

I wanted to let you know that you have done a FANTASTIC job with the web page!!! Coming from Mantorville, but now living 4 hours away, planning our wedding has been a bit of a task, but I have use the Wedding & Event Directory for every part of my planning so far which has made things 100 times easier!! It is very user friendly, and I appreicate all the info that I can get all in one place!! Keep up the GREAT work! Please feel free to use my email any way you would like... I have told everyone I know about your page, Including my little sister who is getting married in July of 07... exactly 3 months before me! Dear Directory, I would like to thank you for all the information your web site has available for new brides. I’m getting married in Nov. 2006 and I’ve hired the bakery out of Cannon Falls for my wedding cake and have inquired to the Floral shop in Zumbrota for my flowers I will also look into a couple rental places off of the website. I used the different business in my different ways. I contacted many of the websites and sent a lot of emails. I have not grown up around the Rochester area and it has been hard to know where to begin to start to look for the many things a bride needs for a wedding. I believe you could use more details on Floral Shops and Wedding cakes. There was not a lot or resources from surrounding towns other than Rochester. There is always an expense when having to transport cakes or flowers, etc. I’m from a small town and home goodness is always nice and personal. I believe the discounts and drawing you offer by registering with your website is also a plus. I receive emails and standard mail of something I missed on your website. Too much info is never a bad thing.
