With a 
fabulous afternoon of Minnesota weather became a perfect day for wedding planning at the 2010 Island Dreams Wedding Show. This 2nd annual wedding show held again at Treasure Island Resort and Casino was filled Sunday with tons of eager brands and qualified wedding professionals.
Over 150 brides got to experience a variety of wedding planning tips and ideas with live entertainment, a fashion show, and great conversations with wedding vendors. Go2wed.com welcomed brides with a tote bag and water to the show with a quaint lounge area provided by Ultimate Events and music creating ambiance for guests from Harpist Serena O’Meara. Upon entrance to the show, they were greeted by over 30 vendors offering samples, design ideas, games and more that could aid in the creation of their special day.
Guests were seated in the Designer Showcase as they sampled delicious treats compliments of Treasure Island’s catering staff featuring a variety of appetizers and hors d’oeuvres.
Brides experienced the latest trends in fashion and attire with a fashion show from Island Bride, Mestads Bridal and Formalwear and Jenni’s Bridal. The styles ranged from couture designs, to destination wedding gowns.Entertainment featuring Fred Astaire Dance Studio showed guests the entertainment enhancements they could add to their wedding and the quality instruction that these talented teachers can provide in choreographing a special first dance.
All admission from this event was donated to the Susan G. Komen For the Cure. $835.00 was raised to benefit this organization and the services, education, and awareness that it provides for the Minnesota community.
