Mestads Welcomes Celebrity Designer, Henry Roth, to an Exciting Event for Brides

ROCHESTER, MN – World renowned celebrity designer and mentor on PROJECT RUNWAY AUSTRALIA, Henry Roth, will be styling brides at Mestads Bridal and Formal Wear on December 12 and 13 during the Henry Roth Trunk Show.  Henry Roth gowns are beautifully made and trademarked as “Affordable Couture” which offers brides a high fashion, high quality gown that is easy on the budget.  The line is extremely exclusive with only 4 stores in North America –Kleinfelds on the East Coast, Here Comes the Bride on the West Coast, and 1 store in Canada.  Mestads is the exclusive retailer for the mid-west.  The line used to be sold across the country but has now been placed in only the most reputable and nationally recognized retailers.  “We are thrilled to have Henry back in our store.  I can’t think of a more perfect way to launch our 30 year anniversary” states owner Cathy Mestad.  Henry divides his time between New York where he designs the line with his sister, Michelle Roth, and Australia where he oversees his parents’ bridal business, Henry Joseph and makes frequent TV appearances.

Henry Roth is currently on the hit TV show PROJECT RUNWAY, AUSTRALIA where he serves as the mentor to young, budding designers.  He has been on other countless TV shows like The View, Good Morning America, CNN, Full Frontal Fashion, and on the hit TV series Style Court, where he served as the judge.  He just finished judging a design contest on MTV Australia.   He has his own podcast on Planet Bride that addresses brides most burning questions and topics of interest He has a keen sense for style and design and uses his talents to help brides find the gown of their dreams.  Henry is very sincere and approachable.  Brides seek him out across the country for his opinions and assistance. 

With the wild popularity of shows like TLC’s “Say Yes to the Dress” (which Henry has also appeared on) this event is sure to be a big hit with brides.  It is not every day that a bride gets to be styled and fawned over by the designer of the most important gown she will ever wear.

As if meeting the celebrity and working with him were not enough there will be other fun things going on at the store as well.  “Mestads loves to give our brides a unique and fun experience” says events coordinator, Ingrid Kent.   “On Saturday, December 12, we have invited Daubes Bakery to pass out their confectionary treats and there will even be a Traveling Photo Booth at the store to snap a shot of the bride with the designer and her friends.  It should be a lot of fun.”
